The little Princess had a dentist appointment this morning and I was wincing right along with her, especially during the tough moments, like trying to hold that huge instrument in her mouth for the x-rays. I know how uncomfortable that can be! So it had me thinking, can a mother be too overprotective?

You'll also see lots of videos about my daughter and her adventures, as she grows and learns to love life, despite all of its many challenges. She has Aspergers syndrome, and she is my miracle. To all of you brave friends out there, who are struggling to connect to an autistic family member, I am sending you all of my love and asking you to stay strong. There is hope!
